It’s been quite the adventure since my son was born. No one told me motherhood would be this hard AND this wonderful at the same time. It’s such an emotional experience every day being a Mom. I’m up, I’m down, I’m everywhere all at once. And I love it.

Recently, I’ve reflected on my purpose in life and found I’ve been coming up short. I have a passion for connecting people, inspiring positive change, and seeing people live a full life. I’ve met many Moms since my son was born and seen a wide range of struggles, obstacles, and also amazing accomplishments they all seem to share. I’ve seen (and received) amazing amounts of love shared in Mom’s groups, wisdom and advice given and received, and also noticed needs that weren’t being met.

And then the idea was born to start this site. We want it to be a place to connect with other Moms, a place to find resources to help you through your current struggles, and a place for encouragement and inspiration. I don’t profess to have all your answers, I am not even able to find all of my own. I do commit though to do the best I can to make your journey of Motherhood possibly a little more fun and a little easier.

Feel free to email me at Rebecca@momsalive.com. I’d love to hear from you!

  1. Hi Rebecca,
I read your post on Mamapedia today and it resonated. I’ve had the same feeling of knowing there were others up at this hour and wished I could talk to some of them.
Now I’m a grandma but I do remember those lonely nights when I got up to nurse my daughter, who’s now a mom. I wish I’d had the insight back then. It would have been comforting.
I’m glad I discovered your website. I’m very interested in the mom’s perspective so that I can help grandmas understand today’s new parenting methods.

  2. Hi Donne,

Thanks for your message. If I can do ANYTHING to help more Mothers feel and know that they are NOT ALONE, I will do it. It bothers me that so many of us feel this isolation and loneliness. We are all doing one of the most important jobs on the planet, raising little humans. We need all the support and encouragement we can get.

    Cheers,
    Rebecca
